Two internships open. SEO and social media.

We are hiring an SEO intern and a social media marketing intern, both in our Sector 14 office in Gurugram. You will work on live client accounts, not practice projects.

You do not need years of experience. You do need to have made something and be able to talk about why it worked, or why it did not.

Right now

2 internships are open for applications.

  • SEO InternFull time, in our Gurugram office
  • Social Media Marketing InternFull time, in our Gurugram office

Based in Sector 14, Gurugram.

What is different

Four things that change the internship.

Not perks. These are facts about how the agency runs, and they are what make the day-to-day work here different from a bigger shop.

You work on real client accounts

Not mock projects. You get live accounts in your first weeks, with someone senior checking your work before it goes out. The work you do is work a client pays for.

The roster is deliberately small

We turn work away rather than stretch the team. That is why there is time to teach you properly instead of handing you a task list.

Flat fees change the job

We are not paid a share of ad spend. So telling a client to spend less costs us money and costs you nothing. That is the only reason the advice is worth anything.

Being wrong out loud is normal

Every client report names something that did not work. That is much easier to do when the person next to you already does it.

Open roles

Two internships, described honestly.

Each one says what the work is and what we look for. If one of them sounds like you, send us the thing you made.

The work

  • Research keywords and turn them into a list of pages worth writing
  • Fix on-page basics: titles, headings, internal links, image alt text
  • Update Google Business Profiles — categories, services, photos, reviews
  • Track rankings every week and write down what moved and what did not
  • Help run site audits and log the errors that need fixing
  • Put the monthly client report together with the SEO lead

What we look for

  • You have done SEO on something real — your own blog, a college project, a friend's shop
  • You can explain what a title tag does and why it matters
  • You are comfortable in Google Sheets and willing to learn Search Console
  • You ask questions when you are stuck instead of guessing quietly
Social & YouTubeOpen now

Social Media Marketing Intern

Run social accounts that people actually find. This role is for someone who understands YouTube SEO and how search works inside Instagram, YouTube and Google.

The work

  • Write YouTube titles, descriptions, tags and chapters that get videos found
  • Plan thumbnails and check which ones people click
  • Optimise profiles, captions and hashtags so posts show up in search
  • Build and run the content calendar across YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Cut long videos into shorts and reels, and post them on a schedule
  • Reply to comments and messages, and pass real enquiries to the team
  • Report what each channel did: views, watch time, saves, enquiries

What we look for

  • You know YouTube SEO — not just posting videos, but getting them ranked
  • You understand social SEO: that people search inside Instagram and YouTube, not only Google
  • A channel, page or account you have grown, even a small one, that you can talk through
  • You can edit a short video well enough to publish it
  • You watch the numbers after you post, not only before

Neither of these quite you? Read what the team actually does, service by service. Start with SEO or performance marketing. If you can do something we have not thought of, write and say so — we keep those applications.

How hiring runs

Four steps, and we pay for the third.

The whole thing takes about two weeks. You will know where you stand at every point, and a no comes with the reason attached.

  1. 01

Send work, not a cover letter

    Day 0

Show us something you made. A site you optimised, a channel you grew, a keyword plan, a video you cut. Two paragraphs on what you did and what you would change is worth more than a page about your strengths.

  2. 02

A conversation, not a screening call

    Within a week

Forty-five minutes with the person you would sit next to. We will ask you to walk through one thing you made, including the part that did not work. Ask us anything about how the agency runs.

  3. 03

    A short paid exercise

    About 2 hours, paid

A small real problem, taken from a client account with the name removed. We pay for your time whether or not we make an offer. We do not ask anyone to work for free and we do not use what you send.

  4. 04

    Offer and start date

    Within two weeks

You get the terms as numbers, not a range: stipend, hours, and what the first month looks like. If the answer is no, you get the reason in writing.

Before you apply

Who this is a bad fit for.

This is not a certificate internship. You are not here to watch. Real accounts are handed to you, and when something goes wrong the client notices.

If you want a fixed task list every morning, a bigger company will suit you better. If you want to stay off client calls, this is the wrong place — everyone here is on them. And it is an office job in Gurugram, not a remote one.

What you get in return is real work you can show. By the end of it you will have accounts, numbers and results you can talk about in any interview after this one.

Apply

Send us your resume.

One form, one file. Pick the internship you are applying for, attach your CV, and tell us about one thing you have made.

  • Read by the person you would sit next to, not a filter
  • An answer either way, usually inside a week
  • The exercise later in the process is paid

Prefer email? Send your CV to support@exponentialy.com instead — it reaches the same place.

Submit your application

A CV and one piece of work you can talk about. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

PDF or Word, up to 5MB.

Two paragraphs beats a page about your strengths.

Read by a person, answered either way.

Applying

Send work, not a cover letter.

Every application gets a reply from a person, including the ones we say no to. If you would rather talk before applying, a call is fine — ask whatever you want about how the agency actually runs.

Or call +91 93060 49784 and email support@exponentialy.com — we reply within one working day.

What the call is

  • 01

    45 minutes, no slide deck

You talk to the person who would run the work, not a salesperson.

  • 02

    Your numbers on the table

What a customer is worth, where enquiries come from, and what you have tried.

  • 03

    A written plan afterwards

What we would fix first, and in what order. Yours to keep either way.
